Amaydi Yoga Studio is owned and run by Vandana Ramani, a certified 200 RYT Yoga Teacher.
Amaydi in Tamil (one of the oldest languages of the world) means Peace -when your mind, body and soul are in harmony within you and with everything around you.
Personal Note from Vandana
I have been studying Yoga and Meditation for 6 years now, My journey on Yoga started in India, including a smattering of learning at the famed BKS Iyengar Institute, Pune during my university years.
However, the opportunity to experience the deepest learning happened when I stepped out of my comfort zone. We moved to the United States; I was taking a break from my 17 year corporate career with Deloitte and KPMG in 2016.
I found quality time to hone my skills in both disciplines – meditation and yoga. I completed the 200 RYT Yoga teacher training under the guidance of Susan Hopkins at Etowah Valley Yoga. I also completed an 8 week course on MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) with UMASS.
However, the certifications are just a by-product of my real journey.
My biggest joy has been in what I learned along the way in both fields and the benefits it brought to my mind and body.
Today, I’d like to personally extend an invite for you to experience the benefits of this 3000 year old ancient discipline called Yoga. I call it the Anchor for everything else – whether you are a gym addict, kickboxer, corporate employee, marathon runner, home maker or secretly the couch potato.
There is no judgement in Yoga. It accepts all of us – form, shape, views, culture or background. When you truly provide permission, Yoga takes you on this magical journey into yourself,to look deeper within. I can safely say from my personal experience, that you will start to see the quality and texture of your life transform in every sphere you touch- whether personal, professional or simply wellness related.
